Jordan is a writer, director and interactive storyteller. His work is intimate, character-driven, cinematic, and surreal—and always trained on the emotions and the art forms of the present moment.

Jordan’s work combines emotional storytelling with the cinematic and surreal. All of his directing is fueled by an obsession with subjectivity — how viewers identify with characters to place themselves into stories — which is perhaps best exemplified in the interactive films that have become his calling card. Jordan’s wit and intelligence as a screenwriter also set his filmmaking apart. His inspirations run the gamut from Ernst Lubitsch to whatever his friends are Re-Vining. Jordan is always trying to find the best ways to tell stories that are honest, personal, and bravely idiosyncratic.

In 2012, Jordan premiered Met Before, a “choose-your-own-path” music video for the band Chairlift, which pushed the interactive conversation into the limelight and was named #1 Music Video of the Year by Buzzfeed. He has also collaborated frequently with the band MGMT, including writing and directing a short film to coincide with their third album release. He is currently putting the finishing touches on an interactive show pilot and a new media adaptation of a classic work of literature. In the commercial realm, Jordan directed Dos Equis’s Most Interesting Masquerade interactive spot, which won the Jury and People’s Voice Webby in the Food & Beverage category. He was also the interactive director of Pepsi’s #FutbolNow campaign for the 2014 World Cup.
