Ehsan had plans of becoming an architect, but soon swapped the sketches for shotlists – discovering film-making whilst returning back to university to study Graphic Design. A series of experimental yet prize-winning shorts later (Smalls, Tank Magazine) he kicked off a freelance career in TV and ad-land whilst simultaneously DJ’ing on the festival circuit across Europe.
Ehsan was soon approached by an international production and creative agency to set up its creative content arm bridging the gap between fashion/luxury, film and digital. And not long after his first spot (Vertu) received YDA nomination at Cannes Lions and Best Sound Design at the MASA’s – he’s gone on to actually in not one but two Cannes Lions, a Creative Circle award etc.
His mission is to be on ‘the right side of creating culture’, to tell untold stories with a hyper-real twist quirky characters in stylised scenarios. He’s been commissioned by brands such as as Nike, NFL, Adidas, Louis Vuitton / Kusama, Hugo Boss, Burberry, YSL etc. whilst his petrolhead obsession has led him to shoot highly-visual spots for BMW, Porsche, Jaguar, Lexus and Nissan amongst others. When not shooting for brands or developing passion film projects, Ehsan can be found in his garage tinkering with classic cars, trawling through records to spin at one of the events he curates or DJ residencies or volunteering for equality as a bedroom / behind the scenes activist.
