Lil Wayne Stars in Cetaphil’s Super Bowl Campaign
Last year, Cetaphil’s #GameTimeGlow campaign created a bit of buzz with its Taylor Swift-inspired spot. This year, after Lil Wayne’s halftime show snub in his hometown of New Orleans, Cetaphil seized the moment again with a clever twist on skincare in their campaign, “We’re All a Lil Sensitive.” Michael Marantz returns to direct his second Super Bowl commercial for the brand with his signature eye for human moments and humor.
In the Ad Age-featured spot, the rap icon embraces his sensitive side, stepping into some stressful situations with some Cetaphil to help soften the blow, like when you get rejected on the kiss cam. And in a first for a beauty brand, the spot ends with a much-anticipated tease of Lil Wayne’s upcoming album.
