Harry Potter x Coffee Mate
Honeydukes Café
The original Potterheads are grown up and drinking coffee now — and in Chicago, they were treated to a café experience straight out of the wizarding world.
Immersive director Brian Moore transformed a downtown space into Honeydukes Café for Coffee mate® and Harry Potter™, a pop-up inspired by the beloved Hogsmeade sweet shop from the series. Fans lined up around the block to enter the whimsical green-and-pink storefront with a custom gold-leaf window, where Honeydukes “staff” greeted them, crafted specialty beverages, and guided them through the experience.
Every detail pulled fans deeper into the story. Floor-to-ceiling green shelves showcased the new Harry Potter x Coffee mate® creamers, while four specialty drinks featured the limited-edition flavors.
Moore layered in whimsical surprises and subtle nods to Coffee mate® branding — from custom signage to floating teacups hanging from the ceiling, to spoons that stirred themselves. And behind a hidden door, guests discovered a magical photo booth, leaving with their own lenticular photograph wizard card as a lasting souvenir.
For a few enchanted days, Honeydukes Café gave fans the perfect blend of nostalgia, magic, and coffee culture; a grown-up twist on the wizarding world they grew up with.
