DISC

DISC is a high-energy VR social sport we built with ASICS and Meta Reality Labs, part video game, part multiplayer playground, part futuristic spectacle.

At its core, it takes the simple joy of tossing a frisbee and cranks it into something you can only do in VR: break the rules of physics, share the action with your friends, and immerse yourself in an arena electric with energy.

The game takes inspiration from ancient athletic competitions but reimagines them with a fully modern aesthetic, dropping each player inside a sleek stadium of the future. With a range of IAP upgrades and customization options, players can outfit their avatars in ASICS-inspired skins as they battle it out in the arena of their choice. Each match is a nonstop switch between offense and defense, flinging a disc at your opponent’s goal one moment, blocking like a shield the next. Leg and hand tracking deliver a level of precision and immersion that feels mind-blowing. And when a player gets hit, they’re instantly “derezzed” out of the arena and back into their living room, a wild MR effect that makes the game feel that much more real.

A critical piece of our production process was listening to the people actually playing it. Via Discord, testers showed us where the mechanics clicked and where social immersion could go further, and their feedback shaped the final game. The result is something you can pick up in a minute but spend a lifetime mastering. DISC has a low barrier to entry yet a high skill ceiling that rewards teamwork, creativity, reaction time, and hand-eye coordination.

With multiple ways to play, solo training, AI matches, and multiplayer battles, DISC delivers equal parts social gaming, shared play, and competition. It’s welcoming to anyone curious about VR but deep enough to keep friends coming back for epic rematches. For us, it’s proof that when you merge thoughtful design with real feedback, you don’t just make a great game, you invent a brand-new social sport.
